Dear Africans

I wish to draw your attention to an advert that coca cola is running with a song entitled “I Love You Africa.”

Where as everything else about the advert is fine, I am very uncomfortable with the words that appear towards the end of the video that say, “while the rest of the world is busy worrying about the future, one billion Africans are busy enjoying a coca cola.” I feel this is demeaning the intellect of the Africans irrespective of the meaning they attach to the message in the advert.
